ABOUT THIS PRODUCT This is a beautifully carved club that is made from a very heavy and hard African wood. This is a very desirable war club as this shape was unique to the Gogo, There is some termite damage on one side where they have removed some of the surface areas. This one is very nicely done and is 24” overall with a curved shaft and a head that measures 9” across. We estimate this piece is at least 100 years old and possibly older. These very desirable pieces are getting harder and harder to come by.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT This is a great old two part, 35” piece that has a small ball fitted to a carved spiral shaft that has been carved with spirals and ridges in a manner reminiscent of the horns of a Kudu. The smooth wear and patina indicate good age. There are a few small age cracks in the shaft but they do not detract from the beauty of this amazing piece. We have never seen anything like this and it is an amazing piece.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT This is a great old, 36” piece that has a small carved face on the handle. The smooth wear all over this club have made the bark and exposed parts silky smooth with a great patina. This is a textbook example of a Xhosa Knobkerrie.
Swazi “Hawksbill” Ceremonial Knobkerrie

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT This is a beautifully carved club that is made from a very heavy and hard African wood. There are a few shrinkage cracks associated with old age and this one has two cavities carved into it (one on the top and one underneath) to hold lard which prevented the head from splitting. This one was carved by a real master and is 33” overall. We estimate this piece is at least 75 years old and possibly older.
